准备来WINDSOR的移民朋友请看---工作篇

移民是一个两难的选择,尤其是对一个家庭来讲.本人来WINDSOR一年之际,为答谢WINDSOR吧,曾经给予的帮助,特出此序列,希望对准备来WINDSOR的移民朋友有所帮助.
工作篇
对任何移民来讲,生存是第一位的.落地之后能否及时找到一份供养家庭的工作至关重要.就本人的实际生活经历,在WINDSOR找一份9~15/HR的labour工作是比较容易的,本人就是在登陆后的第二个月找到的.毕竟WINDSOR是加拿大的汽车城,虽然近年加国的制造业不景气,但那是相对的.可以说这种工作在WINDSOR非常容易找到,月收入1000左右加币,起码可以解决移民的生存问题,如果两人同时打工,会到2000左右,生存是没有问题的.至于以后的发展,根据个体情况不同,加以调整.
落地后可以到CITY HALL和ASSEMENT CENTER,那里有很多找工作的信息,政府人员给你提供优质服务,而且是免费的.
如果你没有亲朋好友在这里,又想和当地华人接触,WINDSOR的华人教会聚集了绝大多数中国大陆同胞.也会给你很多帮助.

Yes, just exit the tunnel on US side.

Good info.

Comparing with Toronto and Ottawa, I think Windsor is an blue-collar city. There are fewer 'hi-tech' companies than Toronto and Ottawa. For labour job, I guess it's the same situations.

But in Detroit you can see many white-collar jobs.
