准备来WINDSOR的移民朋友请看---生活篇

WINDSOR毕竟是一个小城市,所以在找保障基本生活的Labour工作方面要远强于TORONTO VANCOUVER等大城市,而且日常生活消费也是较方便的.这里有许多农产品的直销店,要比大型超市便宜很多.新移民一般在DOWNTOWN找住房,有一辆自行车就可以出去采购.现告知几个比较实惠的采购地点:
McDougal路上有一家肉店,普通猪排骨只有0.7$/磅,猪肘子0.85$/磅,换算后比北京市场上都便宜,质量很好.而且喜欢猪皮冻的人可以向店员索取,这里的猪皮是免费的,洋人不吃.店老板对华人很友好.
牛肉质量也很好,部位不同价格不一样,换算后基本和北京市场相当.
蔬菜相对于国内来说,价格较高,但有几家FARM店很便宜只是没有记住准确地址,下次补上.
水果在FARM店分时间和情况打折,打折时,比北京便宜,而且质量非常好.一年四季,各种水果,很好.
日常生活,柴米油盐,很琐碎.当你找到一份当地工作时,你会觉得非常便宜.

有肉店和 果菜店更詳細的地址 或位置說明嗎?
雖然是很棒的資訊
不過有沒人能順便瞭解一下那肉店會不會是私宰的啊??
如果沒有衛生上的顧慮那就太棒囉:)

好像是在Howard, 该店是个butcher (cut and pack), 以批发为主.

请问出租车怎么叫，打不打表，要不要小费？

What do you mean 出租车?

Are you talking about Taxi? Or you want to rent a car?

For taxi, they 打表 and tips are depend on you.

In order to rent a car, you just tell them how many days, car type, estimate km. They will give you a proper rental plan for that. You do not to paid for tips but you need to paid for the rental fee.

Could someone tell me if I can rent a car vis US drive license and American Credit Card? I once lived in USA, and now I am going to fly to Toronto from China, then rent a car drive to Windsor, but I do not know if can rent a car in Canada. Very appreciated if you can answer my question

I think you can but not 100% sure.
